Job summary

St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Oncology Compounding at the Boise Cancer Institute. This is a full-time FLEX position with rotating weekends and holidays, based at the Boise Medical Center Cancer Institute.

You will prepare oncology medications in a sterile cleanroom, assist with medication purchasing and stocking, and support Infusion Center patients with IV meds and vital signs as needed. Training and national certification assistance are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Idaho pharmacy technician license.
• Two+ years experience preferred.
• CPhT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare oncology medications in a cleanroom environment.
• Manage medication purchasing and ensure stock is maintained.
• Infusion Center Pharmacy Techs assist patients entering/exiting clinic and prepare IV medications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked pharmacy environment.
