U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs at Hines VA Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (Compound Sterile Products) to prepare sterile IV products and chemotherapeutics in a regulated CSP program.

The role requires knowledge of USP standards, pharmacy law, and DEA regulations, with duties in the IV cleanroom, documentation, and collaboration with pharmacists to ensure patient safety. Schedule: Full Time, Mon-Fri 06:00-14:30 with rotating weekends, not a virtual position.

Qualifications

• Specialized sterile compounding for IV products, chemotherapeutics, and non-hazardous products.
• Knowledge of USP 797/800/795, DEA regulations, and VHA directives.
• Experience with sterile product preparation, labeling, and documentation.

Responsabilités

• Prepare sterile products in IV cleanroom; perform accurate mixing and labeling.
• Maintain equipment and logs for daily/weekly/monthly cleaning.
• Coordinate with pharmacists for final check and delivery to wards/clinics.
