Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Meridian, MS is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for sterile compounding at the Consolidated Service Center. You will prepare medications in a cleanroom using aseptic techniques and meet USP 797/800 standards, while maintaining cleanroom and equipment compliance.

The role offers variable shifts with shift differential pay and certification pay for PTCB Advanced Certification. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Idaho pharmacy technician license are required;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Idaho pharmacy technician License.
• Two (2) + years' experience.
• CPhT

Responsibilities

• Sterile compounding technicians expertly prepare medications in a clean room environment using aseptic techniques and meeting USP 797/800 standards.
• Maintain and document cleanroom and equipment compliance, including proper gowning, hood cleaning and environmental controls.
• Perform accurate medication measurements, calculations, labeling and recordkeeping, and ensure the Pharmacy is thoroughly cleaned, organized and well-stocked.
