Job summary

St. Luke's Health System in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - CSC Sterile Compounding to support sterile preparation in our Consolidated Service Center. The role involves aseptic technique in a cleanroom, maintaining compliance, accurate medication measurements, labeling and meticulous recordkeeping.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Idaho pharmacy technician license. Preferred candidates have 2+ years of experience and a CPhT credential.

Qualifications

• Sterile compounding experience and aseptic technique.
• Accurate medication measurements, calculations, labeling and recordkeeping.
• Maintain cleanroom and equipment compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications in a cleanroom using aseptic techniques.
• Maintain and document cleanroom and equipment compliance, gowning, hood cleaning and environmental controls.
• Perform accurate medication measurements, calculations, labeling and recordkeeping, and ensure the pharmacy is clean, organized and well-stocked.

Our Sterile Compounding Pharmacies include Cancer Institute, Infusion Center pharmacies, and the Consolidated Service Center.

• Sterile Compounding Technicians expertlypreparemedications in a cleanroomenvironmentusing aseptic techniques and meeting USP / standards.
• Maintain and document cleanroom and equipment compliance, including proper gowning, hoodcleaningand environmental controls.
• Performaccuratemedication measurements, calculations,labelingand recordkeeping.,andensure the Pharmacy is thoroughly cleaned, organized and well-stocked.

• SCHEDULE/SHIFTS :Variable shifts
• Receive shift differential pay; certification pay for PTCB Adv. Certification; preceptor pay
