Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in delivering timely and accurate medication provision to patients. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification with active Ohio registration preferred.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish a working identity with the Pharmacy Team and contribute to culture.
• Receive training and perform role-specific tasks in sterile and non-sterile compounding under supervision.
• Prepare sterile products using aseptic technique in compliance with standards.
• Prepare non-sterile products including hazardous medications in compliance with standards.
• Repackaging of bulk oral medication using Parata Systems and Medical Packaging Inc robots.
• Facilitate medication dispensing via Automated Dispensing Cabinets on patient care units.
• Assist in dispensing orders through the pharmacy inventory system.
• Assist in inventory control, ordering, stock rotation, and expiration dating.
• Assist with billing of patients and other units.
