Job summary

Mercy is seeking a skilled registered nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments. This role requires accountability for the care of assigned patients and evaluating care effectiveness, with a commitment to Mercy Service Standards and mission.

Qualified candidates will hold an RN license, be graduates from an approved nursing program (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN), and meet state requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Certifications may be required based on position/unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.
