Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring for a Registered Nurse in Cocoa Beach, FL to support a Level 2 trauma center with high-acuity patients in PCU/Stepdown.

Experience in bariatric, BiPAP, COVID, cardiac care, or neuro is encouraged, with multiple shifts available (day, night, mid) and full-time, part-time, or per diem options.\nQualifications include ADN or higher, active RN license, BLS and ACLS, EMR proficiency, and 1 year in related unit.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations.
