Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Stepdown unit on a contract basis in Greenville, NC. You will monitor patients exiting ICU, administer treatments, and collaborate with the care team to adjust plans as needed.

The role requires an active RN license, Stepdown or progressive care experience, and BLS/ACLS. Weekly pay ranges from $2,100 to $2,250 for 36 hours, with comprehensive benefits and housing support where eligible.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license.
• Proven experience in a Stepdown or similar progressive care unit.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Closely monitor patients' condition and progress during the post-ICU phase.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and update individualized care plans.
• Provide clear patient and family education regarding recovery and ongoing care needs.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, outcomes, and patient responses in accordance with facility protocols.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient status.
