Soliant is seeking an experienced Stepdown RN in Fort Myers, FL. An active RN license, at least 1 year in Stepdown or PCU, and current BLS/ACLS are required to join a fast-paced critical care team.

You will deliver patient-centered care for complex conditions transitioning from ICU, monitor rhythms, manage IV drips, document care, and collaborate with the care team. This contract offers weekly pay and benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of Stepdown or PCU experience.
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, titratable drips, and advanced respiratory support.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff.
• Excellent critical thinking and patient assessment abilities.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to those transitioning from intensive care.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient status evaluations.
• Administer medications and manage IV drips per protocols.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes or emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff on care plans.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and discharge.
• Accurately document care and responses in the electronic health record.
