Qualifications

• Eligibility for licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR and/or required unit-specific certifications.
• ACLS certification, or within 6 months of hire.
• Effective communication skills for patient/family interactions.
• Intermediate computer skills; proficiency in the EHR system.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and update patient care plans based on ongoing assessments and family input.
• Collaborate with health care team to promote effective patient care.
• Verify and implement physician orders and document in the EMR.
• Engage patients and families to develop appropriate education plans.
• Respond to changing patient needs and priorities.
