Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking an RN Clinician for the ICU Stepdown unit, delivering safe, patient-centered care in a magnet-designated environment. The clinician applies the AACN Synergy Model for Patient Care and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Prerequisites include BSN or ADN with RN licensure, active BLS, and ACLS may be required for specific departments. A 4-week orientation period is included, with emphasis on leadership and expert patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BSN and RN licensure is required to practice in Georgia.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS may be required for certain departments.
• RN Licensure must be active and in good standing.
• If multi-state practice applies, multi-state license/compact is required within 60 days of hire.
• Additional certifications may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, effective nursing care using the nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and develops care plans.
• Documents care in electronic health records (EHR).
• Leads and participates in interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Supports orientation and training of staff and students as needed.
