Requirements

• Current RN license and good standing with the Delaware State Board of Nursing.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Stepdown RN (most recent experience within the last year).
• Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
• Must have strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills, as well as assessment skills relating to a variety of conditions/diagnoses.
• Strong familiarity titrating common drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone following facility protocols, and current ACLS guidelines.
• Strong experience with managing cardiac, vascular, and other complex/higher acuity patients.
