Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Intermediate Care Step Down Unit (SDU) Registered Nurse (RN). The role focuses on applying the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care for assigned individuals within the SDU.

Candidates should hold an Oklahoma RN license, have BLS and ACLS, and be prepared to participate in ongoing professional development within a people-first culture focused on high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is primarily responsible for using the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide care to assigned patients.
• Responsible and accountable for identifying and prioritizing needs, formulating the plan of care, prioritizing/managing/delegating interventions, and collaborating with the physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
