Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, in Cleveland, OH. You will provide bedside care, monitor critical patients, and support complex therapies in a 24-bed CCSD setting.

The role requires current Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS with preferred BSN. You will work rotating shifts in a high-acuity unit with a 5:1 patient ratio and opportunities for tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS for healthcare provider certification.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for CCSD unit patients including CHF, COPD, DKA, sepsis.
• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Providers, PT, OT and other staff.
