Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, in Cleveland, Ohio. Shifts are 7a–7p with rotating weekends/holidays; bi-weekly hours total 72. Includes up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible experience and $5,000 for new grads.

Opportunity to work with advanced telemetry, patient lifts, and a collaborative team. Current Ohio RN licensure required with BLS; ACLS or within 6 months. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; current RN license in Ohio
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West)
• Perform EKG interpretation and central line care as part of patient management
• Assist with complex bedside procedures and manage respiratory support (Bi-PAP, high-flow oxygen, ventilator/Trach) with clinical judgment
