Job summary

The CHS Career Site is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinating with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role includes patient assessments, medication administration, education, and emergency response, with adherence to infection control and safety standards. Requires RN licensure; BCLS is required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and organizational policies.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Collaborates with care team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Provides patient and family education on conditions, treatment plans, and discharge care.
