Job summary

TPAPT is seeking affirming educators to provide in-person 1:1 tutoring for high school students in Hingham, MA. The role is entry level and involves 60–90 minute sessions, 3–12 hours weekly, with weekday afternoons and evenings between 2pm and 8pm.

You will work in a supportive environment with flexible scheduling and no administrative duties, focusing on tutoring subjects you love. Competitive pay starts at $40+ per hour.

Qualifications

• Earned Bachelor’s degree.
• Expertise in the subjects you wish to tutor and the ability to teach them to a diverse range of students.
• Capable of quickly learning new technology and apps.
• Teaching, mentoring, classroom experience, tutoring experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12 at our learning center in Hingham, MA.
• Tutoring sessions last 60-90 minutes.
• 3-12 hours per week of availability and the ability to work between 2pm-8pm during the week.
