Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring in Hingham, MA is seeking an entry-level SAT/ACT/ISEE/SSAT Test Prep Tutor to work with high school students in grades 9–12 at our local learning center.

The role offers 1:1 tutoring sessions of 60–90 minutes, 3–12 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Starting pay is $40+ per hour, based on education, experience, and availability. No administrative tasks; we handle scheduling so you can focus on tutoring.

Qualifications

• Holds a B.A. degree.
• Subject mastery and the ability to teach a diverse range of students.
• Tech Savvy: capable of quickly learning new technology and apps.
• Experience: teaching, classroom experience, and tutoring experience are preferred but not required.

The Position:

• Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12 at our learning center in Hingham, MA
• Tutoring sessions last 60-90 minutes
• 3-12 hours per week of availability and the ability to work between 2pm-8pm during the week
  
  

Requirements

• Earned Bachelor's degree
• Expertise in the subjects you wish to tutor and the ability to teach them to a diverse range of students
• Capable of quickly learning new technology and apps
• Teaching, mentoring, classroom experience, tutoring experience preferred but not required
