Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking affirming educators for 1:1 tutoring with high school students in our Hingham, MA center. Sessions run 60–90 minutes, with a flexible schedule and pay above the typical rate.

Entry-level positions welcome; part-time availability of 3–12 hours per week, mainly weekday afternoons and some evenings, with scheduling provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to teach diverse range of students.
• Capable of quickly learning new technology and apps.
• Teaching, mentoring, classroom experience, tutoring experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

The Position:

Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12 at our learning center in Hingham, MA.

Tutoring sessions last 60-90 minutes.

3-12 hours per week of availability and the ability to work between 2pm-8pm during the week.

• Earned Bachelor’s degree.

• Expertise in the subjects you wish to tutor and the ability to teach them to a diverse range of students.

• Capable of quickly learning new technology and apps.

• Teaching, mentoring, classroom experience, tutoring experience preferred but not required.
