Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 17 years or older

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications:

Position Purpose: Oakland University School of Engineering and Computer Science (SECS) Outreach Department is committed to STEM education for Kindergarten through 12th grade students. Our SECS Outreach Department is looking for a highly organized, driven, cheerful, and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of STEM Summer Camp High School Counselor. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Outreach and Retention.

Job Duties:

• Assist lead outreach staff with teaching and overseeing summer campers
• Work with fellow outreach staff to plan and implement fun and engaging Summer STEM activities
• Responsible for ensuring the safety of all campers
• Other duties as assigned
