Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Women in STEM (WiSTEM) Student Program Coordinator for the College of Natural Sciences. This in‑person role on UT's main campus leads university‑level STEM recruitment and retention initiatives and supports WiSTEM’s outreach, events, and operations.

The coordinator will oversee LLCs, iConnect events, externships, and newsletters, while coordinating with other departments and partners to promote STEM programs and build student belonging and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of experience coordinating or administering programs such as student organization activities, non-profit programs, summer camps, etc.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Living Learning Community (LLC) program including recruitment, communications, invoicing, room placement and staff supervision.
• Coordinate iConnect Fall Festival and Spring Networking events, recruit STEM role models, and engage corporate partners.
• Manage externships including learning plan creation, student recruitment, registration, communications, and badge awards.
• Develop and distribute WiSTEM newsletters and manage digital platforms (Canvas).
• Handle administrative responsibilities: invoicing, bill paying, staff hiring, room reservations, and inventory.
