Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley is seeking an After-School Teaching Specialist – Code & Create to guide youth in coding, robotics, and digital arts using iPads. Part-time, 20-30 hours weekly at Silicon Valley club sites.

You will foster confidence, problem-solving, and creativity in a dynamic after-school setting. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of teaching experience, strong classroom management, and comfort with Apple devices and apps.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of teaching or instructional experience (STEM/tech preferred).
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Tech-savvy with iPads, MacBooks, and Apple apps.
  • Must pass background check, TB test, and CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain).
  • Reliable transportation to travel to multiple sites.
  • Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

  • Lead hands-on activities in coding, robotics, and digital arts.

Location: Multiple Clubhouse Sites – Silicon Valley
Schedule: Part-time, 20-30 hours per week

Payrate: $27.00/hour

Join Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley as an After-School Teaching Specialist – Code & Create Program! In this role, you’ll teach fun and engaging lessons in coding, robotics, and digital arts using iPads. You’ll help youth build confidence, problem-solving skills, and creativity while exploring the world of technology.

If you’re passionate about teaching, curious about tech, and love working with kids, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Do
