Mad Science of Washington DC is seeking part-time performers to lead hands-on science workshops and theatre demonstrations for elementary students during after-school and event-based programs.

You will travel to schools and community sites across the DMV, bringing the full curriculum and lab gear provided by the company. Work hours are flexible and designed to fit around other commitments, with no lesson planning required and training supplied.

Qualifications

• Group management experience with 10+ kids in a setting such as classroom teaching, theater, camp, or coaching.
• Must own a reliable car to transport kits to event sites.
• Punctuality and clear communication, especially for schedule confirmations.
• Willingness to obtain state and federal background clearance.

• Reliable Personal Vehicle: Must own a reliable car to transport kits to event sites.
• Punctuality & Communication: A proven track record of arriving early and responding to schedule confirmations within 24 hours.
• Background Clearance: Must be willing to clear state and federal criminal background checks.
