Job summary

Mad Science of Washington DC is seeking energetic performers and educators to join our Performance Team. You will lead high-energy, hands-on science workshops and theatrical demonstrations for elementary students, delivering safe, fun experiments with the full curriculum and materials provided.

This is a part-time, flexible role with minimal lesson planning, scheduling around school events. You’ll pick up equipment from our Silver Spring, MD warehouse and travel to various schools and community

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year managing groups of 10+ kids.
• Own a reliable car to transport kits to events.
• Be punctual and respond to schedule confirmations within 24 hours.
• Must be willing to clear state and federal background checks.

• Reliable Personal Vehicle: Must own a reliable car to transport kits to event sites.
• Punctuality & Communication: A proven track record of arriving early and responding to schedule confirmations within 24 hours.
• Background Clearance: Must be willing to clear state and federal criminal background checks.
