Job summary

Guardians of Honor, LLC seeks an organized Program Coordinator to support STEM outreach, education programs, and maker-space activities at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The role emphasizes coordination, customer service, and working with scientists, educators, and stakeholders to deliver hands-on STEM experiences.

The candidate will manage scheduling, data reporting, and communications, while building partnerships and overseeing space operations. On-site work with occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in program coordination or related outreach roles.
• Experience coordinating STEM education, outreach, events, and maker-space activities.
• Strong project coordination, organization, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to pass background investigations and obtain security clearance.
• Willingness to work on-site at Aberdeen Proving Ground with some travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide program admin support: correspondence, scheduling, records, and data reporting.
• Plan and coordinate STEM education and community outreach events.
• Engage scientists and educators to support program initiatives.
• Develop partnerships for outreach talks, demos, and activities.
• Manage daily operations of the education/outreach space.
• Assist with presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
• Support additional duties as needed.
