Luna Community College seeks an instructor to teach Mathematics courses supporting certificates and degrees in STEM. The role involves campus and satellite-site instruction across locations in New Mexico, with required assessment reporting for accreditation.

This position is responsible for instructing students in required academic courses in Mathematics necessary for the pursuit of certificates and associates degrees in the area of STEM. The incumbent in this role will be required to complete all required and necessary assessment reports related to the course(s) taught at the request of the college/Academic Director as it relates to accreditation and assessment. The incumbent in the position will be required to travel to satellite locations and/or locations designed by the college for instruction.
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading and visual inspection. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. This position is not a remote position and serves the college from the Las Vegas, New Mexico campus. This position may be required to travel to various satellite/site locations for instructional and other purposes as designated by the college. Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license without restrictions.
Master’s Degree in related field and 18 graduate level credits in Mathematics. Two years of teaching/instruction experience in the designated field is preferred.
