Job summary

Union County College in Cranford, NJ seeks an Educational Support Coordinator to manage the Academic Learning Center, Information Commons, and Math Success Centers. You will develop targeted tutoring programs for STEM students and create content for classrooms, the college portal, and the LMS shell.

You will supervise tutors, collaborate with faculty, and implement innovative tutoring strategies including AI tools. Travel between campuses and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, STEM preferred.
• Minimum two years of teaching and/or tutoring experience.
• Experience with LMS shells and supporting PCs/devices.
• Experience supervising student workers.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and supervise tutors and staff.
• Create and manage tutor schedules.
• Research and integrate AI and other technologies to enhance tutoring services.
• Promote tutoring services to students, faculty and staff.
• Coordinate with STEM faculty to align tutoring with coursework.
• Travel between campuses as needed.
