STEAM WORKS STUDIO is a dynamic organization that provides hands‑on, practical STEM education for K‑12 students in Central and Southern Jersey. We offer regular weekend classes and after‑school enrichment programs teaching robotics, electronics, animation, 3D modeling and printing, flying machines, and game development.

Job Title

STEM Instructor or STEM Instructor Assistant – Weekends/Weekday Evenings and Summer Camps

Hours

Part‑time. Weekdays: 3:00 PM‑5:00 PM or any 2‑4 hour block between 10:00 AM‑6:00 PM on weekends. Commitment to weekend work plus at least 2 hours on weekdays is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up class materials and kits, use slides and company‑provided resources.
• Conduct live demos on open demo days, run camps, and convey key STEM concepts to students.
• Answer student questions while maintaining their interest and attention.
• Provide valuable feedback on students, courses, and content.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated, independent, detail oriented, with patience to run medium‑size classes (8‑10 children).
• Experience with LEGO sets (Mindstorms EV3 or VEX) or fluency in Java, Python, phone app development, Raspberry Pi, or game engines such as Unreal or Unity.
• Commit to weekend sessions and at least 2 hours on weekdays.
