Togetherhood in New York City connects educators with schools and communities seeking enrichment. As an after-school instructor, you will design engaging STEM curriculum and lead in-person classes across NYC schools and community sites.
Teaching terms range from 6 to 18 weeks. You are paid per class or per student as a contracted 1099 worker, with a separate materials budget to support classes.

As a member of our network, you will be matched with opportunities to teach STEM (including but not limited to Science, Coding, Math, Robotics, Engineering, Video Games, Computer Animation, AI) to K-12 students at schools, buildings, and communities across NYC. These teaching opportunities will be for terms that could last anywhere from 6 weeks to 18 weeks.
As an after school instructor, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

Teachers in the Togetherhood network are paid per class, either flat rate or per-student (determined by the partner school). This is contracted, supplemental 1099 work. There is a separate materials budget for teachers to use for classes requiring one.
