Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Teach upper-level Mathematics and Computer Science-based STEM courses
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives
  • Incorporate hands‑on, project‑based learning opportunities that encourage critical thinking and problem‑solving
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and cadets
  • Maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date grade book
  • Mentor cadets through weekly advisory meetings
  • Participate in occasional weekend duties and school events
  • Adhere to all Academy policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Help maintain and foster a structured, disciplined, and positive classroom environment
  • Support the Academy's mission of academic achievement, leadership development, and character education
