Responsibilities

• Partner with Managing Director of Human Resources in designing and implementing a strategic plan for recruiting and selecting teachers and leaders to join the STEM Prep team.
• Oversee selection process to ensure a positive, equitable, smooth, and inspiring experience for candidates and current staff members.
• Review one-way video interviews and make recommendations to school teams, manage candidate process through reminders and follow ups.
• Design, build upon, and oversee the hiring process for new positions.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential candidates using nurture campaigns.
• Evaluate candidates based on submitted materials, interviews, and site visit demonstrations; advise school teams of candidate strengths, gaps, and aspirations.
• Participate in the selection and hiring process of future teachers while maintaining a high level of retention.
• Research and attend job fairs, mock interviews and other career events.
• Support the HR Coordinator in creating online content and communications; maintain relevant pages of school website and social media accounts
