Job summary

University of Washington is seeking a Curriculum Coordinator for the Upward Bound Math Science program. You will tutor math and science, teach STEM workshops, design UBMS curricula, and help place students in STEM classes, coordinating Summer Academy activities with lecturers and staff.

You will also assist in planning events, manage online learning environments, and support recruitment and data reporting efforts for program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math is required.
• At least two years’ experience tutoring or teaching Mathematics through Calculus.
• Experience with curriculum design and online instruction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with students at target schools and online to provide STEM tutoring and advising and monitor progress.
• Coordinate and develop two-year Summer STEM Survival Skills curricula and teach Summer STEM classes.
• Assist in developing and implementing the Summer Academy with UW departments and staff.
