UVA Health is seeking a registered nurse for a Stem Cell Transplant Unit in Charlottesville. You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for HSCT and cellular therapy patients, administer complex therapies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate with a BSN within 5 years, Virginia RN licensure, and AHA BLS certification. Sign-on bonus/relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia; AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to stem cell transplant and cellular therapy patients.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunosuppressive meds, and other complex therapies per protocols.
• Initiate, monitor HSCT and CAR-T infusions and care for patients in clinical trials.
• Initiate and monitor blood product transfusions.
• Assess for complications and implement timely interventions.
