Qualifications

• CNA Certification or enrolled in nursing school with basic clinical rotations.
• CPR recognition by the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
• Minimum of 90% correct on annual mandatory Health and Safety Training quizzes.
• Unit based recognition for Capillary Blood Glucose Monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Record vitals and measurements for adults and neonates.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens as appropriate.
• Transport patients and equipment during urgent situations and discharge.
• Respond to patient call lights promptly and support the RN.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment and restock supplies.
