Job summary

Arizona Science Center is seeking a CAMP Onsite Assistant to support the Learning Division's camp programs. You will help prepare pre-planned activities, lead demonstrations, and assist the Camp Instructor to foster inquiry and hands-on learning for students in grades 1–12.

You will supervise 15–25 campers, ensure safety, and assist with daily records while contributing to a fun, educational environment. A 16+ age minimum is required, with accommodations as needed.

Qualifications

• Public speaking or theater background; ability to engage the public.
• Experience with youth development and STEM education.
• Camp counselor experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering camp activities and demonstrations.
• Lead engaging investigations and hands-on learning for 1st–12th grade.
• Supervise a group of 15–25 school-aged guests and ensure safety.
