DSST Public Schools in Denver is seeking STEM Apprentice Teachers for the 2027-2028 school year. This 11-month, full-time program offers a $48,000 salary plus benefits and relocation stipend for eligible candidates from 75 miles or more away.

Participants enroll in MSU Denver’s 1-year Alternative Licensure Program with DSST covering tuition and fees in exchange for a 3-year teaching commitment. You will shadow an experienced mentor, observe peers, practice instruction, and receive feedback as

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree (any major) prior to start date.
• Passion for Math, Science, or other STEM subjects.
• Commitment to education as a career and to stay with DSST for at least three years.
• Enrollment in MSU Denver’s 1-year alternative licensure program.

Responsabilidades

• Shadow an assigned Mentor Teacher.
• Observe various DSST Teachers.
• Practice teaching real classes.
• Get direct feedback from your Mentor Teacher.
• Participate in school and network development.
• Attend MSU Denver Alt Licensure classes and obtain your teaching license.
• May take on additional duties as assigned.
