Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants seeks a RoofField Inspector to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. You will inspect steep and high roofs, evaluate exterior and interior damage, and perform underwriting property inspections using advanced tools and technology.

Must have a reliable vehicle capable of transporting a 32’ ladder, be able to obtain a lidar device, and demonstrate proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must be able to inspect steep and high roofs safely.
• Ability to complete inspections in varied weather conditions.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication with insureds.
• Detail-oriented with thorough documentation of findings.
• Empathy when dealing with insureds during claims.
• Roofing/construction background or insurance claims experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on steep and high roofs to assess damage.
• Evaluate exterior and interior damage and perform underwriting property inspections.
• Use technology to assess property damage and document findings for claims.
• Maintain safety and professionalism during inspections.
