Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants seeks a RoofField Technician to join our network of independent contractors. You will conduct assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluate exterior and interior damage, and perform underwriting property inspections using cutting-edge technology.

Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work in varied weather. Roofing/construction or insurance claims experience is a plus, and you must have reliable transportation and a LiDAR-capable device.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely navigate and inspect roofs, including steep/high designs.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious approach.
• Experience in insurance claims or roofing/construction is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect steep and high roofs to assess conditions.
• Evaluate exterior and interior damage on properties.
• Perform underwriting property inspections.
• Utilize technology to assess property damage and document findings.
• Help prevent further damage until permanent repairs are completed.
