Diamondback America is seeking a Steel Welder Level II to fabricate and weld steel components on a daily shift in Florida. You will perform MIG and TIG welds, inspect bead size, and repair parts in a production setting.

Responsibilities include selecting materials and tooling per welding charts, and maintaining weld quality. Candidates must pass a weld test, read measurements, and lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime may apply.

Competenze

• Ability to pass weld test.
• At least 1 year of experience reading a tape measure and measuring material.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Mansioni

• Perform MIG and TIG welds on steel in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Examines weld for bead size and other specifications
• Repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes
• Position and clamp workpieces together or assemble them in jigs or fixtures
• Select torch, torch tip, filler rod, and flux according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of material
• Perform all necessary maintenance and repair on all equipment used in welding
