Job summary

Waukegan Steel, LLC in the Chicagoland area seeks a Project Manager to oversee multiple structural steel and miscellaneous metal projects from bid award through closeout. You will be the main contact for GCs and CMs, coordinating shop drawings, fabrication, field installation, and final closeout.

The role requires 3+ years in project management, 5+ years in Chicagoland construction, and proficiency in reading blueprints and shop drawings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Chicagoland construction preferred.
• 3+ years in a project management role.
• Proficient with architectural/structural blueprint reading and steel shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day project execution from bid to closeout.
• Coordinate with GCs/CMs on day-to-day issues.
• Prepare monthly pay applications (AIA G702/G703) and track change orders.
