MTH Industries in Hillside, IL seeks a Steel Project Manager to lead miscellaneous and architectural steel projects nationwide. You will oversee design review, shop drawings, procurement, fabrication, and field coordination for stairs, railings, platforms, and structural supports.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in engineering or construction management, 5+ years in steel PM, and strong skills in reading drawings, coordinating with clients and vendors, and managing change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in steel project management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project timelines and milestones.
• Ensure safety plans and field safety compliance.
• Review design drawings, track revisions, manage scope changes.
• Prepare estimates for change orders and negotiate adjustments.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and field teams to ensure delivery.
• Oversee procurement of materials and subcontracts and monitor production.
