Novax Recruitment Group is seeking an On-Site Project Manager / Steel Field Lead for major structural steel projects across the U.S. This field-based, traveling role acts as the main link between the job site, erection subcontractors, the project team, fabrication operations, and the general contractor.

You will oversee daily coordination of steel erection, reading drawings, coordinating material laydown, tracking schedule and safety, and traveling to project sites for roughly one-year

Formación

• Two-year associate degree is required; a four-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline preferred.
• Experience coordinating erection subcontractors, foremen and trades on substantial projects.
• Strong ability to interpret structural drawings and communicate field issues quickly and accurately.
• Excellent organization and communication skills; comfortable representing the project team in meetings.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam/PDFs, MS Project, Excel and Word.
• Current OSHA 30 certification and valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate structural steel erection activities with subcontracted erectors.
• Work with on-site foremen on logistics, sequencing and material requirements.
• Coordinate laydown areas and steel deliveries.
• Attend erector, GC and contractor coordination meetings.
• Monitor erection progress, manpower and schedule.
• Read and interpret structural steel drawings; track inspections and punch lists.
