Job summary

Bosch Home Solutions in Wichita, KS is seeking a Steel Press Setup Operator to perform die changeovers, setups, and operate single-stroke mechanical presses (70 tons and up) to blank, punch, and form parts to specifications.

You will read OMS and job instructions, prepare equipment, troubleshoot setup issues, and ensure first-pass quality while maintaining a safe, clean work area. A high school diploma and press-machining experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow OMS and job instructions.
• Prepare equipment and materials for production and handle parts per specs.
• Operate single-stroke mechanical presses (70 tons and up) to blank, punch, form parts.
• Perform die changeovers and select appropriate materials.
• Troubleshoot setup-related issues and seek technical support as needed.
• Maintain press setup quality and complete production paperwork.
