Job summary

North Star BlueScope Steel is seeking team members to join our hot-rolled steel operations. You will work a 12-hour shift pattern: 7am–7pm for four weeks, then 7pm–7am for three to four weeks, then swing back to days. This schedule provides extended blocks of rest and alternating day/night coverage.

You can earn at least $50,000 in total compensation in the first year plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include medical, dental and vision from day one, a 401(k) company match and a 24/7 onsite

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Legal to work in the U.S. on an unlimited basis (no sponsorship).
• Age 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily work goals and support continuous improvement.
• Adhere to quality standards, safety, housekeeping, and environmental compliance.
• Participate in training and achieve key performance indicators.
• Operate safely around heavy equipment and machinery.
