Job summary

PlayCore is seeking a Steel Operator to work on the production floor. The role involves operating a range of machinery, maintaining quality output, and ensuring safety. You will report any material defects and stay attentive to attendance requirements while supporting a clean, organized work area.

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Satisfies the company attendance requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Job description

The Steel Operator works directly with team members to support production initiatives. They perform duties such as set-up, operate, and tend various machines.

Responsibilities

• Operates specialty equipment which may include but is not limited to hand tools, grinders, presses, hydraulic shears, punches, saws, drills, and industrial rollers.
• Produce quality work that meets company expectations.
• Reports defective material questionable conditions to department supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Satisfy the company attendance requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
