Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a fabricator to join our manufacturing team in Madera, CA. The role focuses on fabricating steel molds for concrete using hand and power tools, welding operations, and lifting equipment.

Responsibilities include steel fabrication, MIG welding, torch cutting, and operating shop tools like band saws, drill presses, and grinders. A minimum of one year experience in steel fabrication is required; basic math and blueprint reading skills are

Qualifications

• At least one year of steel fabrication experience.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read fractions and a tape measure; read shop prints.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication of steel from parts using cutting equipment and welding parts together per specifications.
• Completing vertical and horizontal arc and MIG welding.
• Using oxygen and fuel torches to cut steel.
• Using industrial steel tools such as vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, etc.
