Liberty Steel USA is seeking a Steel Mill Turn Foreman in Peoria, IL to lead the maintenance team on an on-site, rotating shift. You will keep the shift safe, on schedule, and in alignment with quality standards, serving as the first contact for operational and personnel issues on the mill floor.
You will collaborate with area supervisors, operations, and union stewards to ensure fair policy application and smooth production, while maintaining safety and efficiency across the crew.

Salary grade: SG18 (average starting range $68,000 - $82,000)
Reports to: Melting Supervisor / Shift Operations Manager

The Steel Mill Turn Foreman is responsible for keeping the shift safe, on schedule, and in compliance with quality standards. This role is the first point of contact for operational and personnel issues that arise during the turn, requiring a hands-on leader who is comfortable making real-time decisions on the mill floor.
The Turn Foreman works closely with area supervisors, operations, and union stewards to keep production moving while reinforcing consistent, fair application of company policy and the collective bargaining agreement across the crew.
