Liberty Steel USA is seeking a Steel Mill Turn Foreman for our Peoria, IL facility. You will lead the hourly maintenance team, supervise crafts, and coordinate with area supervisors and union stewards to keep production safe, on schedule, and within quality standards.
You will handle real-time decisions on the mill floor, document shift activities, and report progress. The role requires 3+ years in steelmaking, prior leadership, and willingness to rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Salary grade: SG18 (average starting range $68,000 - $82,000)
Reports to: Melting Supervisor / Shift Operations Manager

The Steel Mill Turn Foreman is responsible for keeping the shift safe, on schedule, and in compliance with quality standards. This role is the first point of contact for operational and personnel issues that arise during the turn, requiring a hands-on leader who is comfortable making real-time decisions on the mill floor.
The Turn Foreman works closely with area supervisors, operations, and union stewards to keep production moving while reinforcing consistent, fair application of company policy and the collective bargaining agreement across the crew.
