Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with related training or equivalent experience; experience in fitting/fabricating; ability to read shop drawings; welding and OSHA certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in fitting and fabricating is essential.

• Ability to read blueprints and interpret shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit structural frames, bridges, beams, and columns.
• Read and interpret blueprints to plan fitting operations.
• Layout and fit detail parts with precision.
• Verify fit-ups for quality before inspection.
