Job summary

Patriot Erectors, LLC is seeking a Fitter/Fabricator to join our team west of Austin, TX. You will assemble and fit structural steel components, reading shop drawings to guide your work, and ensure precise fit-ups for high-quality fabrication.

You will work closely with the Shop Superintendent and teammates to maintain productivity and quality. Required are a high school diploma or GED, 12 months of training or equivalent, and welding and OSHA certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in fitting and fabricating is essential.
• Reading shop drawings and blueprints is required.
• Current welding and OSHA certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit structural frames, bridge parts, beams and columns.
• Read and interpret blueprints to plan fitting operations.
• Layout, fit, and verify accuracy of detail parts.
• Verify fit-ups for quality before inspection.
